Overview

The Els Club Teluk Datai is arguably Southeast Asia’s most exotic golf experience. Located amongst some of Malaysia’s most spectacular landscape, the course is nestled between a centuries-old rainforest, where Macaque and Dusky Leaf monkeys roam the flanks of the golf course, and the picturesque shores of the Andaman Sea. It is absolutely stunning here! 

Ernie believes this is the most spectacular golf course setting he has ever had the pleasure of working on…and the photographs certainly add weight to that statement. The official opening in 2014 was the first of our courses to receive a royal blessing, when Ernie teed off with Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajjah Haminah, The Queen of Malaysia.

Did you know…

In 2016 the Els Club Teluk Datai became the first golf course in the Ernie Els Design portfolio to feature on Golf Digest magazine’s prestigious ‘Top-100 Courses in the World’ list.
